This is a little known hidden township park, Grove Hill, has unusual heights.
This is a little known hidden township park: Grove Hill. The Sherman Township (Osceola County) park is the 1873 homestead of George Grove. Later it was chosen as a fire tower location because of its commanding views.
However the sign at the park also indicates it is truly unique in another two respects.
When found, email to me:
1. What characteristic of this park makes it special for all of Michigan's Lower Peninsula?
2. What characteristic of this park makes it special for all of north America?
3. What is the elevation reading according to your GPS for this park?
(If you want, I'll send you the U.S. Topo map reading.)
Please do not put your answers in your log (or I will delete it).
