High-up # 2 Virtual Cache

This is another virtual cache that is located in the KOFA Wildlife Refuge.
From Yuma, take highway #95 north or from Quartzsite take Highway #95 south to Palm Canyon Road. Drive east towards Palm Canyon and just before Palm Canyon there is a road that goes to Kofa Queen Canyon. From here you will need a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Follow this trail to Indian Canyon and park at N33 22.144 W114 3.723. The next waypoint that you have to go to is a rock cairn located at N33 21.963 W114 03.879. The second cairn is located at N33 21.843, W114 04.015. There are several more cairns that you have to follow to get to the cache.
From our many hikes in this area, this is the only way to the cache without using a helicopter. The view from the top is well worth the effort.
Like the High-up cache this is a very difficult hike, approximately 4 miles return from where you park your vehicle. Elevation at the cache is 4874 feet.
Sign the log book that is located in an ammo can and note the date on the survey button..
