Enjoy the walk along a pristine beach. Watch out for Cassowaries!
This cache is located right next to the water, overlooking beautiful Dunk Island. The walk to get to it will take you around 2-3 hours return, but it is well worth it. Drop into the info centre first for a pamphlet on the Kennedy Track. The track pretty much follows the coast, alternating walking along beautiful sandy beaches, and rainforest. After finding the cache, continue on around the corner to Kennedy Bay to complete the walk.
The cache itself is in a lunch box with a blue lid, hidden in a natural hollow in the rocks a few metres off the track. Watch out for spiky palm fronds lying around.
NOTE: Please take plenty of water on this walk, as there is no reliable source of water on the way.
