Another easy one (a drive-by) that's fun for the kids and it's just off the main highway if you're travelling down state hwy 57. A special thanks to Frank Wall for permission to place this cache.
FTF: Da Rebel on Aug. 14, 2003 Congrats DaRebel !!!!! The name of this cache will make sense when you get here. One tower of the past and one tower of the present (you'll have to drive a few feet past the cache to be able to really see the towers). John McNeal with the Forrestry Service said the older tower was built in 1953, but hasn't really been used since 1997. The first one of these towers in Georgia was erected in 1928 on top of the Ware Hotel in Waycross. This cache is in a 30MM ammo box with the geocaching.com logo on the side. Lots of fun stuff inside. When you get here, please be sure to put what city and state you are from in the log! Good luck! PS - Use the Forestry Service Access Rd. The cache is not inside of any fenced in area. Also note that there may be an abondoned well somewhere in this area, although I haven't been able to locate it, so use caution.
