This is a night time only cache. Young kids especially like this
cache because they can follow the reflectors. Big kids like it
also.
Some quotes from cachers "Very creative...great for
kids...awsome cache...best concept I've seen...I'm scared...so
clever" The start is a short drive from Bend or Sun River. When you
get to the starting coordinates, look south for the silver "Cougar
Eye" reflectors. Getting there by car is easy. From the south, just
follow your GPS. From the north, the safest approach is to do a
U-Turn at Lava Lands visitor's center and then approach from the
south. There is also "night lights" at Ogden group camp on the way
up Paulia Peak. Getting home is the most important part. Bring at
least two bright flashlights. You may decide to leave your car's
head lights or parking lights on just to make the return trip
easier. You will need your GPS, and the start coordinates, to
return to your car. The cache, an ammo can, is nestled .17 miles
from the start, and marked with a red reflector. Fun toys that
either light up or glow in the dark are suggested. No trees or
cougars were injured in the making of this geocache. .
