This is an offset multi-cache. You will need to collect information from two locations in order to find the final cache. You don't need to climb any fences (they are all over the place) to get to the cache although you will need to negociate the undergrowth hence the terrain rating.
The starting co-ordinates are for the car park. Look for the sign and examine the postcode and telephone number. The first digit of the second part of the postcode gives you G. The second part of the telephone number after the STD code gives you
01543 ABCDEF
Next go to N52°40.490 W001°48.258 where you will find a children’s exercise frame. Note the number of vertical posts and horizontal bars. Do not include the lone post.
You now have all the elements for finding the cache.
It is at N52°40.(VERT/2)(HORIZ)(G) W001°48.(E/F)(B)(G)
where HORIZ are the number of horizontal bars and VERT is the number of vertical posts.
Good luck in your hunt for the cache. As a hint approach the final cache from the car park and not the second location...
Pictures from first cache cam.
This is the replacement cache after the first one was trashed and is in a slightly different location. Replaced on the 29 May 2004.
