2017-08-04 I plan to re-activate this on Saturday, vanGO Man-made river diversion tunnel cave through a small mountain (hill). About 4km from Exit 11, off the 104 Highway between Truro and Amherst. Short climb up steep hill along a well traveled path. Cache is an ammo can placed under a fallen down tree on the far side of the hill.
NOTE: Location changed Oct 19, 2008

Climb the hill above a popular "Hole in the wall", and decend on the far side to see the cave/tunnel water entrance. The cache is located in the valley on the other side of the hill. GPS reception may be challenging. This area is now becoming a bit of a Ghost Town area since the new Cobequid bypass was put in. It was the main stretch of highway between Truro and Amherst, but had a notoriously high number of vehicle accidents, which explains its former nickname of "Death Valley". Although its available in the winter, it might be quite challenging getting up and down the steep banks if there is much snow, and the cache is at ground level, so deep snow could be problematic...
