Greenwood Lake is a small reservoir tucked away in the foothills between Greenwood and Georgetown. There are lots of trails winding their way through this region frequented by horseback riders. The path is flat, but there are boulders at the entrance that must be negotiated which may make it difficult for anyone with mobility issues.
Cache is a pint size mayo jar slightly off the trail. It is partially covered, but visible if you are looking in the right place. Make sure to enjoy the lake and berries on the way to this cache. Contents at placement were: • Susan B. Anthony dollar coin (for FTF) • Mel Teenie Beanie Baby • Red satin sachet • BMW eyeglass strap • String of beads Due to the tree cover you may have a hard time getting a good lock.
