Geocache Description:

The purpose of this multi-cache is to introduce the cacher to a location on the Appalachian Trail (AT) known as the Knifes Edge. This particular “Knifes Edge” is located on Pennsylvania State Game Land (SGL) #217. It is about a 100 yard long boulder outcropping on the top of the ridge that the AT traveler must walk. There are vistas from the Knifes Edge looking both South and North.

WARNING - Rocks on the Knifes Edge are slippery and dangerous when wet.

Dogs Allowed. Four legged cachers may have problems crossing the Knifes Edge. They may have to be carried.
This is a two cache multi-cache. The first cache is located east of the Knifes Edge. The second and final cache is located west of the Knifes Edge. The first cache is an 8 oz Tupperware container with a dark blue cover. The final cache is a .50 caliber ammo case filled with the usual goodies. You have a choice of two parking areas to find the cache. One is on State Route 309 and the other is on Bake Oven Knob Road. The coordinates for both these locations are listed. When hiding these caches Waterboy With Wife parked at the Rt. 309 location

The two caches are about 3/10 of a mile apart

We placed our trademark bottle of water next to each cache. They are available to the first thirsty finder.
