Follow the Port Underwood road North from Picton and park in the Karaka Point car park. Follow the track down to the cache from the lower car park, using your GPS to determine which track to follow and where to look for the cache.
This is an area of special significance to local Maori (the cache isn't on the bit that is significant to them). It's worth taking the time to read the signs about the history of the location.
The site is also a popular picnic area and the cache has been specifically placed to be and easily accessible staging post for any travel bugs that may be planning a trip accross Cook Straight on the inter-island ferry.
