Hanover Canoe Launch Cache Traditional Cache
geo50chevy: As far as I can tell from the logs, this one has floated away and been found, but not where the coordinates are. The old swamp maple hollow tree that is was in, is in an area just loaded with poison ivy, so I am going to archive and if someone else wants to hide one in the area, feel free. I originally put this one here to show people where the Hanover Canoe Launch was and still is. Keep On Caching!

Hanover Canoe Launch Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This cache is located on land at the Canoe Launch, you can access it by foot. Don't plan on a long hike, this is a quickie! Beware of the Poison Ivy and mosquitos are horrific in season!
Bring your Canoe or Kayak and enjoy the day. The Indian Head River is tidal, so you may want to check the Boston Harbor Tides, it is 3.5 hours different than the mouth of the North River in Scituate and Marshfield. Plenty of parking is available. Once you launch your canoe or kayak heading left, paddle down and to the right is the Herring Brook Valley cache, it is not far, check your GPS. If you go left you will be joining into the North River. Or drive across the street and to Luddams Ford Park and hike the old Railroad beds and find the caches there. Maybe you will find the cache hidden on an island up the Indian Head River, which you access from Luddams Ford Park, you cannot canoe to Luddams for as there is a dam there.
