Secret garden in a beautiful park
This park is open from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm. Dogs are allowed, but the areas and times are restricted.
Enter the park at 41 46.843, 87 55.004.
The art museum is at 41 46.937, 87 54.738.
The bamboo grove is at 41 47.115, 87 54.776.
The secret passageway is just to the west of the bamboo grove, and should be easy to find. After two months of being closed, the secret passageway reappeared. Apparently it is not only secret, but magical as well. As of 12/1/2003, the cache is in good shape, and the bamboo is still green. Let's see how long that lasts. Those wishing to avoid the secret passageway have alternative route parking at 41 47.212, 87 54.884. This parking is for a more direct, but less scenic route. It was mentioned by a recent finder.
The cache is a plastic box.
