This is a tradional cache that had a bicycle theme. Since the original container and its contents are gone, this cache is simply one in an area that I like to cycle through when doing the trails in the area.
The location of the cache has changed since the original brittle stump has crumbled away. The new coordinates are shown above. I would like all who come to the cache to leave a note telling where one of their favourite trails for hiking or biking can be found. The location can be local or one from your travels. I'm sure lots of people are looking for new places to explore. They don't have to be cache related. Two of my favourite biking trails are Kolapore (southwest of Collingwood) and Buckwallow (near Gravenhurst). Both offer beautiful scenery and challenging terrain. This good local trail is where I like to start from when I do the Homer Watson area trails by the Grand River. It makes for good length of ride when you include the hidden valley area (over by highway 8)as well. The parking area can be found at N43°23.402' W80°25.277'. You will need to cross a busy bridge so use the paved underpasses that will allow you to cross safely. The trail entrance is found at N43°23.441' W80°25.405'. There are many loops of trails and two that are close to the cache so not a lot of bushwacking needed. Have a good hunt!!! The "Inukshuk"ers
