Geocache Description:

This is all about the area, the cache is a bonus. This is a reservation area with woods and a large open scenic area. The woods section is open 7 days a week, year round fron 8AM to sunset. The ocean lawn area is open Friday thru Monday year round same hours. Bring your camera, binoculars and perhaps a picnic lunch, it is well worth it.

This consists of 3 mini caches and a regular cache(rectangular plastic about 4 inches deep). The posted coordinates are for the first mini. It will contain instructions and coordinates for the other two minis depending on the day of the week that you are there. Remember the Ocean lawn is closed tue,wed & thur. These minis will contain the coordinates for the cache. The cache can be found on any day but to enjoy the full beauty of this place you must come Fri. thru Mon.

After you find the first mimi, continue a short distance on the trail and check out Magnolia harbor and beach.

As you walk down the ocean lawn look for the outline of the former Coolidge Mansion. Walk carefully as the geese also enjoy this beautiful area.

Some of the wood trails can be a little steep and rocky but for the most part the trails are very good. Some of the trail goes thru private property and is so marked, so please stay on the trail in this area.
