Geocache Description:

In northern Pt. Mugu State Park. About 1.5 mostly level miles each way. Kid friendly.

TRUROKR is a local cacher famed for creative hides, and for his Dr. Doolittle affinity for anything that is furred, feathered, scaled, clawed, hairy or gilled (rocks and minerals too). This large ammo box is filled with such friends and hidden in a place TRU would really like - his Newbury Park hometown, wild, great views of nature but none of civilization, lotsa cammo green inside and out, but easy to reach on regular and game trails so kids can join in the fun. Sharp eyes may spot the NPS trap study site en route - PLEASE do not touch or disturb anything - and, closer to the cache, a coyote meeting spot. Please trade with like nature items or TNLN. One place to park is in the main lot at Rancho Sierra Vista (a Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area site), off Lynn Rd., about 1 mile west of Reino Rd. En route to the cache, visit the Chumash Cultural Center, open on weekends.
