In wooded area that floods when it rains.
This is a letterbox cache, so please:
- Do not take the site's signature stamp, log, or lead weights.
- Do not leave any trading swag.
- Do bring a stamp pad so you can stamp your log with the site's signature stamp.
The small letterbox container is in a green weighted, hopefully watertight, Nalgene container. The area is along a stream, and floods after heavy rains. The lead weight is essential to keep the letterbox cache from floating away and becoming a 'letterbox cache in a bottle' that washes up on a far away beach someday!
Located in the roots of a 1 foot diameter tree, possibly behind a flat rock. Watch for snakes, and you may want to gently prod the cache and the area around it to see if anyone else is home. Details are provided to keep impact on area and vegitation to a minimum.
