This park is located behind the Progress Corporation Park in the San Felasco Hammock east of Alachua off of SR 441. There are several trails and the difficulty is finding the right one. Be prepared for about a 4.5 mile journey (or more) if you choose the right path.
Bring your horse or bikes and helmets or walking stick but do not forget the water! This micro is placed on one of the premier biking trails in Alachua County. Twists, turns, up & down as well as a few challenging obstacles. If I can do it, so can you!
Fun ride for those seeking a challenge, this site is guarded by one of the largest skinks around. By the time you get there, your tung will be hanging out and you will think that you have gone nuts but to find this one you must first get the coords found on the San Felasco #1 and #2 micros.
The coordinates listed is the parking area and maps are usually available. You might want to bring one along for this ride. There are a variety of trails.
The cache is a small rubbermaid container with a variety of items (utility knife, GPA sticker, log book w/ pencil, etc). The real treasure is the ride so do not go looking for valuable items in this cache. Enjoy!
