The name of this cache may be misleading. It's a play on words not a giant container. The cache is hidden in a rather interesting urban setting.
On May 3rd, 1999 a huge outbreak of tornados hit Oklahoma. There were 11 recorded supercells that touched off at least 66 recorded tornadoes. Estimates are that over 70 tornadoes were developed from the storms. Including a massive F5 tornado that hit the Oklahoma City metro area. Thousands of homes and businesses were damaged or destroyed throughout the affected areas with a total damage estimate of $1.2 billion. On this very spot and F3 tornado passed and left a lasting economic impact on the town of Stroud, OK.
Cache Update: 04/02/05 This area may undergo some changes soon and if the area gets destroyed I don't want to be responsible for someone's travel bug getting lost. The existing container is not water tight. For some reason people don't seem to put the box back in it's obvious hiding spot thus it keeps getting filled with water. So, I am removing the cache box and making this one a micro for the above reasons.
