Tunnel of Terror Traditional Cache

This Cache is located in the Kennerdell Tunnel on the Allegheny River Trail in Venango Co. This tunnel is 15 miles south of Franklin. The co-ordinates above are at the entrance of this tunnel from the Franklin end. For more specific directions see this site: http://eagle.clarion.edu/~grads/avta/ART.html. Or you may park @ the park cords for "The Rockland Tunnel Cache" which would make it about 6 mile walk or bike ride one way.
This cache container is a red & white Coleman Pizza Hutl gallon picnic jug.
This cache was placed with the help of 3 Whitehall Chicks & their kids. We introduced them to geo-caching yesterday & their first find, & today their first hide. I think they're hooked. The tunnel was their idea. Tunnel is very dark. Take bright flashlights or Coleman lanterns. We had both. We thought sure as we walked back through the tunnel, the ghost of a PRR engine was coming down the tracks at us. The mist from the humidity outside at the entrance was very strange. This cache is not for toddlers nor the faint of heart.
