McCormack Lake was built by the CCC boys from the New Liberty Camp. The lake is spring fed.
I have permission from the land manager for this cache.
Take Hwy 19 south from Winona, MO for approx 11 miles or 13 miles north of Alton, MO on Hwy 19 to FS3155. Take FS3155, it is paved, approx 2 miles to the parking lot on the east side of the lake. From the parking lot you should see a sign directing you to the Greer Trail and the Ozark Trail. Travel down this mowed trail approx. 335 feet, at that point look for two white ribbons tied in a bush on the left side of the trail. Ribbons were placed by someone else not me.
Cache is in a Rubbermaid plastic bowl and it contains.
