mrZ: It appears the landscapers have taken the cache. I guess I will have to replace it with a micro.

Geocache Description:

This is an easy cache and nice location to watch small aircraft landings. Do not walk too far; Parking is close.

This cache is located on a short trail near the San Carlos airport. After finding the cache, continue to the end of the path and you can observe birds and planes.

If you look east you will see Bair Island (middle and outer). The Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) acquired Bair Island in 1997 for $15 million. The middle and outer portions of the island are inaccessible. The POST purchase ensures that Bair Island will forever be a refuge for 126 species of birds, 13 types of animals, and 63 species of fish that consider Bair Island their home or a rest stop on their migrating pathway. Inner Bair Island is located south of the cache and contains a trail.

The cache container is your typical ammunition box with various trade items. If you happen to see any white or green tubes along the trail, leave them be. These tubes are not the cache. The container is within arms reach of the trail.
You can park at N 37° 30.389 W 122° 14.817 and walk about 400 feet to the cache
