The Cache is located on Mt. Higby. While the terrain is not especially difficult there are many drop-offs and kids should be watched closely.
I placed this cache since the other Higby (Ridgeview) cache went missing. The views on top of Higby are impressive and other cache locations can be seen from here as well. This is our first cache so let us know how we did. Please be careful along the ridge line there are many drop-offs so again please be careful!! Parking can be found on the westbound side of Rt. 66 at N41° 31.853 W072° 44.391 and follow the Mattabessett trail (blue). There is brand new parking area now for all to enjoy - Good luck - Cartier Clan
