I have been looking at caches in the area that have been temporarily disabled for a while now and it looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time I don’t think we can do so any longer. Therefore, I have archived this cache. If you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

When repairs to this cache are completed and it is time to have it reposted, it will be no problem. Just drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. You will still be able to access your cache page just as before by going to your “My Cache Page” and clicking the link of your cache.

I will be more than happy to take a look at your cache again to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

This is a Multi-Cache located in Garrett Mountain Reservation. There is three steps to this cache. The first two steps can be driven to within 100' or so, but the last part is a hike into a very little known area of the mountain. Lots of picnic tables and parking available, so you may wish to pack a nice lunch.

There are quite a few other caches in this park, so if you have never hunted them before, now would be a good time to bag the others located within the reservation.

For the first part of this cache, park at the suggested coords and make your way over to part one. Once part one has been completed, you may drive into the reservation and make your way over to part two. Parking is available in three different areas for the second stage. Once part two is completed, stay where you are parked and head off to the last leg. The cache is a well stocked ammo can.

This is an easy cache, the only hard part maybe the first two stages cause there is many places they can be hidden. Wheelchair access is not available for the last stage, sorry.

Please hide everything exactly as you found it! Please trade fairly so others an enjoy this cache as well, signing the log is required, otherwise you may post a note or a DNF!! If you feel that there is any errors, please let us know asap so we can fix them quickly.

Please check your clothing well, as there is an abundance of deer in this park, and where there is deer, there is ticks!!

If you see any trash, please pick it up, there are numerous trash recepticles around the reservation for disposal. Thank You and Enjoy! :)
