Geocache Description:

Only classed 1.5/2 for the last few yards as otherwise easy paths from the Risley Moss Visitor Centre.

N.B. Reserve not open on Fridays and carpark locked at 5.30pm!

The name is taken from the observation tower which gives excellent views over the Risley Moss which is a local nature reserve in the heart of the Mersey Forest. Do pick up the leaflet from the Visitor Centre to read about the history and ecology of the Moss.
There is a copy in the cache but please leave it for future visitors.

Take care not to be seen from the tower when seeking the cache and do not go in directly – you should be able to find a way to the spot without crashing through vegetation and giving the position away.
