Located off Deep Lake Trail near the Camp Grounds. Deep Lake is a part of the Yankee Springs Recreation Area. Cache is in an ammo box.
We chose this area to hide our cache because it is literally our home away from home. Phil camped at Deep Lake as a boy. Deep Lake is also where Team Van HI-G all camped together as a team for the first time. We love Deep Lake! Watch out for blue racers(SNAKE). We came across one on a trail as we were heading back to our camp site. We had just hidden the cache. Be careful when you go and find it and any other time you venture into the woods. Original cache contains fun things you may want or need while camping! Bug spray, tent stakes, water proof matches, cards, lighters, and other camping stuff.
