Swan Park Trails. Part of the River Ridge Trails. A nice hike along the trails and then the hunt.
This is a very nice city park in town, with an excellent trail around it. There is ample parking at N44 22.079 W89 06.245. The trail has two entrances/exits. The easiest begins at the edge of the baseball fields. Watch for deer and turkey as you hike through the woods. You may want to wear long pants due to some thorny underbrush and bring bug spray for the mosquitos. It was placed wearing shorts and a t-shirt (with no blood loss!). It is hidden in a clear plastic container. Original contents include some key chains, two Pez dispensers, a flashing light, along with other small goodies. We hope you enjoy this as this is our first, but hopefully not our last. If you like the trail, continue around it. There are markers describing the flora and fauna, making for an informational and scenic walk. This replaces the original container, which is "lost"? Moved a few feet from the original location. A bit further back in the brairs. Please put back and cover carefully so it doesn't disappear. Thanks and enjoy!
