A lovely walk with great views of Anchorage and the Chugach Mountains, starting from either the Glen Alps or the Prospect Heights trailhead.
Great hike for kids, approximately 5-1/2 miles roundtrip. For a longer hike, with more elevation gain, start from the Prospect Heights trailhead. The trail can be muddy in the spring. The cache is a plastic mayonnaise jar. It is filled with birthday party bag treats. Bring a small item to trade.
