Geocache Description:

Easy cache at a lakeside park.

This is at a pretty park with a pier and boat ramp to a big, shallow fishing lake. It's the 5th largest in Florida! There is access to the mouth of Arbuckle Creek which is great for kayaking, and you can get airboat rides in the area to get closer to the alligators and other wildlife if you are so inclined. It is also part of the Great Florida Birding Trail. There is a short trail with lots of cypress trees and a cool big sideways oak for the kids to climb on (no formal play equipment). It is very kid-friendly but the trail is grass so a stroller ride is possible but will be bumpy. I would bring bug spray just in case. It's a small park with restrooms, tables, and grills just off the highway that makes for a good rest or picnic stop on Hwy. 98. Perfect if you are traveling or out finding other caches in the area!

Please be careful not to tear the ziplocs when taking things in and out of the cache because the mouth of the container is a little small. Please also be careful to camouflage it well or it'll be seen by muggles.
