VT_EMT: So today I ventured out to check on this one.

Time had beat up on this one.

The once groomed path is gone.
No easy way to the cache.

On top of that the final had 2" of water in it and everything inside was ruined.\

So I am letting this one go.

Geocache Description:

This cache is a single location multi-cache. You can park in one
place and finish it.

This multicache is located in Essex Junction along the Green Mountain Power Canoe
Portage path. Parking is at Essex 19 (sunrise/sunset weekdays) & across the bridge at Overlook Park.
There are three other areas for parking within walking distance of the hydro plant.

In 1995 when GMP was renewing its license for its hydro dam called Essex #19,
they agreed to improve the site. One of the improvements was to add a canoe portage trail.
This trail runs from the up river side of the dam, along route 2A, under the vehicle bridge,
and then along the generator building to where you can get your canoe back in the water past the water exit flues.

This geocache has three parts; locate a micro, find a Vigenere keyword, decrypt final cache location.
If you're new to multi caches this may be a good one to learn with.

Instructions:

Stage 1: From the initial coordinates find the micro cache.

Stage 2: The micro cache holds the coordinates for the second location.
Once at this location you will find a word that is used as the keyword to
decode the Vigenere encrypted coordinates and details to find the final cache.

The word should be pretty apparent as it is the only word you can see in the area.

Stage 3: Find the final cache.
