This is a two-part multi-cache located in Landis Woods Park.
Landis Woods at 69.9 acres is one of the Manheim Township’s largest tracts of natural undeveloped land. The park has its own unique management plan which calls for the natural preservation of this land and heritage. Within Landis Woods is the Boettcher House, which houses a small museum and nature center. The park offers passive recreation with hiking paths and a native planting area that is now a model for native restoration projects. The park has restrooms and picnic tables and is open from 7:00am-10:00pm.
The first part is a small tin painted brown containing the coordinates of the cache. The hike from part one to the cache is approximately 0.43 miles. The cache is an ammo-box containing various items for geocachers of all ages. This is a good hunt for children. No bushwacking is required. Landis Woods is open to and popular with mountain bikers. Please rehide both parts well.
