Domkirkeodden - "The cathedral headland" - has been a
crossroad since medieval times and the stone age. These days it is
the site of the largest glass building in Europe - the protective
struture over the old church ruins.
This is also home for the Hedmark province Museum, which
has both outside and indoor exhibits.
A large lawn extending towards the beach invites to relaxation and
play. There are hiking paths in both directions along the
lakefront.
A medieval castle for children is located at N 60° 47.631 E 011°
02.315, close to the beach.
The cache is a log-only small plastic box, sitting magnetic. It
contains combo stashnote/log and a tiny pencil. It should be
available in the winter.
