You'll never see the sunny side of Hamar unless you exit from the freeway or the railroad.

Domkirkeodden - "The cathedral headland" - has been a crossroad since medieval times and the stone age. These days it is the site of the largest glass building in Europe - the protective struture over the old church ruins.

This is also home for the Hedmark province Museum, which has both outside and indoor exhibits.
A large lawn extending towards the beach invites to relaxation and play. There are hiking paths in both directions along the lakefront.

A medieval castle for children is located at N 60° 47.631 E 011° 02.315, close to the beach.

The cache is a log-only small plastic box, sitting magnetic. It contains combo stashnote/log and a tiny pencil. It should be available in the winter.

Free parking: N 60° 47.520 E 011° 02.520
