THESE COORDS WILL TAKE YOU TO A PLACE WHERE DESPERATE PEOPLE ONCE CAME TO LEAVE THEIR LOVED ONES TO SPEND THEIR YEARS AS FORGOTTEN SOULS. MISTER WILSON RESIDES ON A CORNER LOT HERE. YOUR NEXT CORDS WILL BE FOUND AT THIS LOCATION. From what you have read you now know that this was the start of the Craig Colony, where people with mental disorders and developement disabilites were left to spend their lives. Not long ago, thousands of these individuals were rutinely sent to remote institutions, forgotten by socity, stripped of their individuality and rights as citizens. Some even forgotten by their own family members. As members of these colonies passed away, and their remains were laid to rest, many were marked only with a number. Suffering in death, the same as they did in life, anonymous and forgotten. This is a part of our history that is not talked about at this time, but it is important to keep alive the memory of how they were treated to ensure other people will never be treated in the same way again. In time, those with mental disabilities moved out of theses institutions and into local communities where they are once again accorded the rights of individuals.  From here the final cache will be 3/4 miles and you will once again need to return to your cache mobile to try to find the shortest distance to walk to the cache. This will be a very short walk, if you find the right spot to park. Good luck with this cache and I hope that it has made some kind of impression on you.
