Geocache Description:

On NY State Forest land 1/2 mi hike up logging road and cache is located off road less than 200 ft under fallen tree.

Cache is in a military weather proof box painted dark green with GPS letters in orange and contains log book and assorted trinket type items. Best access is from west on Colegrove Hill Road, try parking at waypoint N42 28.324 W77 15.997 near logging road access point with 3 NY State Forest medallions in view, then hike trail .52 mi easterly. From east the Finger Lakes Trail access; cache is accessible .6 mi west from Blueberry Bog (grey) extension section of Finger Lakes Trail joining same logging/access road as Colegrove access road. Caution... evidence and citing of bears and 2-3 cubs reported in area.
