This location affords you a great view of the Sapowet Marsh and its connection to the river. I hope you enjoy it. Thanks to WaldenRun for help in finding a great hiding spot!
If you like the salt water as much as I do, you'll like this location. There are usually snowy egrets and blue herons in the area. The swimming here is excellent as well - a long walk into calm surf, or, for STRONG swimmers, a steep drop-off under the bridge which reminds me of fresh-water swimming "holes." Kids (and the occasional librarian) have been seen jumping off the bridge at high tide.
PLEASE, make sure cache is covered tightly and replaced right-side-up, as this is a damp location. ALSO, please NO PENS/PENCILS inside the logbook ziploc. Please leave the short pen in the cache. THANKS!
Winter note: You should be able to locate the cache with the hint even with snow on the ground. HOWEVER, snow/ice at the cache site will make the terrain VERY treacherous, and a fall could be nasty. PLEASE be careful!
