This part of the country was an unlikely place for what took place here in 1923. Not unlikely in what happened at that time, but its link to what would happen four years later. Destiny would turn the visit of an unknown man into the first step of a journey that would become one of the most momentous events of modern history. An event that would forever make his name known. To claim credit for this cache email me the answer to the following questions:
1. What year did the sculptor sign the sculpture?
2. What is the name of the first individual person listed as a contributor?
3. The three wall benches surrounding the memorial are divided into a total of how many subsections (some are smaller than others)?
The memorial sculpture is an inspiring one that many will not expect to find in this place. Do not post your answers on the cache site, nor pictures of the memorial. The unexpected sight of it is worth the visit. An email to me of pictures of the memorial showing you there will be welcomed.
