Located above Boulder Lake. Once at the cache you can see the lower end of Payette Lake, upper end of Cascade Lake, Boulder Lake, and Boulder Meadows Reservoir.
Park at the lower end of Boulder Meadows Resevoir and take the Boulder Lake Trail from the top of the dam. The first leg is an easy hike to Boulder Lake (approx. 45 minutes) then it becomes a boulder scramble to the cache site. Don't take small children since some of the scramble can be rough. Take your fishing gear, I hear there are some nice pan size fish in the lower lake.
Updated the cache 26 Sep 10 with new stuff and also came up with a slightly different GPS coord. If not able to find try N 14 degrees 52.389'. West remains the same.
The cache is in a dark green metal 7.62 ammo can and includes:
