Slow Running Ford Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

-Rusty-: Greetings,

While Geocaching.com would like to continue to hold the location for you, doing so blocks other cachers from placing caches in the area. We feel that this cache has been disabled for a period of time exceeding what is reasonable for the area, and thus I regretfully must archive it.

If you are able to get out and replace the cache, simply drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. I will be more than happy to take a look at it to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

Thank you,

Rusty...

Geocache Description:

This cache has been put together by the kids of Smith. This is their first cache they have hidden. Bring the kids, a picnic (if the weather is good) and the fishing poles and have fun!!!

This was a very popular spot in the spring for smelt fishing, when there was a lot of smelt. It is still pretty popular just for fishing off shore, and for lauching boats. Many people walk to the end of the trail for fishing, please use care when getting the cache.

The cache is a clear rubbermaid container with the twist off lid. Original contents are: Jitters the Travel Bug, Virginia quarter, 4 balloons, Where's George $1, box of crayons, bachelor button seeds, stickers, bag of marbles, moist towlett, bouncy ball, and a pad of post-its, and of course the log book and pencil.
