Placed in 2003: After three months of hard work in Strömstad here at HÄLLEKIND we finally made it to
the end of the summer...
We have spent a few nights off at this very location. Sitting on the second floor made us happy for a while and together with nice people and friends this was our own space to kick back and relax at (see pic)
The season of 2003 me and Kite was in charge of running the Hällekind Pensionat nearby. We thought it was a lovely place and hoped to come back another time with more energy then the day of placing the cache. After nearly 1500 working hours in 3 months we closed the place today (the 31st of August 2003) and are now free to take a loooong vacation.
"Summer is finally over…" as Kite put it...
(After this summer we were running the place until the summer of 2008 when the new era started with new buildings)
We highly recommend a stroll up north from here.
Go to Amandas vik (sign at the west from the large house) and follow the path. Walk up to Utsikten for a nice view of the archipelago of Stromstad an the Koster Islands.

NEWS 2005-09-01: Buda, Kite and Mr.Noaksson finally made it to the end of the summer of 2005. Again, now for the third time. A wonderful summer again and now we close down Hällekind Bed & Breakfast and kick back again! It's our boats that lays here so please send us updates and pictures if you like. We live in the yellow house not far away.
KORT SVENSK VERSION: Buda & Kite drev Hällekind Pensionat 2003 och placerade ut denna cache efter en TUFF sommar med jobb, jobb, jobb. Vi öppnar för sjätte sommaren 2008. Denna gång har vi stannat för gott, vi tror nämligen att vi hittat HEM :), husbygge på Seläterholmen en bit norrut väntar.
Lådan försvann våren 2005 och likaså gjorde konstruktionen den var gömd vid (gamla bryggan, inte dages hiding point!) Till slut fick vi hjälp av Sjöräddningssällskapet SSRS att återställa denna cacheplats :)

Checked the cache again: EVERTHING OK!
2006-10-15: Summer is over, AGAIN. Now for the forth time! Time flies, we are getting tired again and today we had a bath after a sauna. Moving on...
2007-01-17: Cache moved a few meters to avoid getting washed away during future high water levels.
2011-03-01: Checked the cache again. It is a nice place still but the new houses above here gives at least me an uneasy feeling ;)
2011-07-07: Checked and maintained by the owner
2014-10: Thanks to YARNSLAYER & Co this old cache is still up running again. Please rehide in a way that make it harder for mugglers to clean away the cache!
2018-01: Thanks to your fellow cacher AYORAMA the cache is now living on with a new lock & lock
