Lake Washington
County Park
Take a few hours and enjoy this wonderful little
park. So much to see. The total trail system is only
about 1.5 or 2 miles. Also, don't forget to check out the
bridge just to the east of the Learning Center. The sign
claims it is the last active bridge from the 1876 Dept. of
Transportation still being used. The way I read it that means
it is the oldest active bridge in Minnesota. Although it is
not used by cars anymore, but by snowmobiles and hikers.
This cache is placed about 200 feet away
from trail. Please rehide it well as it is not a very dense
underbrush area. I found a nickel while picking up trash near
the hide. Maybe you could get so lucky too.
The cache is in a large, clear plastic tub.
Also you will find a bunch of old grocery bags to pick up trash
with on the way out if you so choose.
