Geocache Description:

Little used park. Trail to cache is in the open but the cache is on the kame. Enjoy this unique geological feature. Just over 1/2 miles round trip.
Please note: The best route to the cache is to follow the mowed grass path that begins at the southwest end of the parking area. Also, the Closed sign on the gate refers to an old hunting club.

We put the cache out to celebrate our first year of caching. What a great sport!

The cache originally contained 4 cache "starter kits" -- an idea I borrowed from others. Cache has gone missing twice now. Third time is a charm (I hope. I replaced the replacement mini with another clear plastic container.

It's best to approach the cache by staying on the grass trail (SW corner of the grass parking lot) and approaching from the north. Once the ground is frozen or slippery the north approach will be the safest.

Starter kits has been used for the following caches:
A Walk in the Fen
Yasgur's Farm
