The Wright Stuff Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Rana Pirica: Greetings from Geocaching.com

It looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. While we feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from hiding new geocaches around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Therefore we are archiving this cache so that someone else can place a cache in the area and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. If you haven't done so already, please pick up any remaining cache pieces as soon as possible.

If you are in the process of replacing or repairing your cache please e-mail me in response to this archival, and I will assist you in getting your cache re-listed if possible.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and look forward to seeing your caches up and running in the future.

Geocache Description:

Located near Dakota Territory Air Museum in Minot, ND.

Hidden in a static display of a large airplane near the Dakota Air Museum in Minot, ND. Here's one you can even fly to, just ask the Minot tower for taxi clearance to the Museum. Park your plane or car and enjoy the best aviation museum in North Dakota! Lots of aircraft and other interesting stuff to see. The only bad thing about the museum is the admission - it is way too low! But a great bargain for an enjoyable and educational experience! The cache consists of an ammo can with a logbook, golf ball, a couple pieces of Knife River Flint, two .54 caliber musket balls like Lewis and Clarke used just south of here 199 years ago, a key ring, magnifying glass, a Susan B. Anthony Dollar coin, a Sacagawea dollar, and a travel bug "The Wright Stuff" ( a P-51 model like the real one "Dakota Kid" that is often seen in the museum) which we hope to send to Kitty Hawk NC (where the Wright brothers made the first flight 100 years ago!)
