Geocache Description:

This is a relatively easy trail on a dry day and parts are very tough on wet days.

This is a very cool trail that hardly anyone uses any more. It leads to a picnic area with a fire circle that has become over grown. Next to the fire circle is a public parking lot not accessable by vehicles. The road in is gated and only opened for permitted events. The trail is nicely maintained by Mt. Lebanon and scout groups. The trail is dog friendly.

Directions: The start of the trail is just off of Cedar Blvd in Mt. Lebanon. Take Cedar to Lindendale Drive and make an immediate left onto the Mt. Lebanon Public Works driveway. You are allowed to park on the side of the road from Lindendale Drive to a white 'Authorized Vehicles Only' sign. Park at N 40.22.034 W 080.03.714

The cache is a camo fifty caliber ammo box. The first to find will get a very nice sealed first aid kit. I have launched Mr. Bones the travel bug and put other goodies in the box. Also in the box is a service patch from the ambulance service I work for. In fact we fill our vehicles right there at the public works pumps. So if you see an ambulance, wave, it might be me!
