Hiker Parking at Shelter: N42 47.221 W89 37.846

A conventional container with a Halloween theme (Please trade similar items and avoid hard plastic McD artifacts, please). This is hidden in the rustic New Glarus Woods State Park in the area with an ADA Accessible turkey blind. See the picture below for a trail map and shelter parking. I had the opportunity to meet Steven Johnston (Green County Work Unit Manager – DNR) -- Steve gave permission for this cache placement and said that handicapped parking is available if you check-in at the office. (You would proceed south down the ADA trail, at the west end of the park, to a point at N42 47.076 W89 38.127) Steve is very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly – be sure to say HI and that you are a cacher if you come here! Highway NN is very busy – you might choose to walk west thru the campsite area from the shelter to avoid traffic. This park is very neat and clean, but as always, bring a bag for cache in-trash out opportunities.
