It is located in Riverview Point Park. This is one of Manatee County newest Parks. The Park is located next to De Soto National Memorial Park.
You may come by land or by sea. If you come by land you may park at 27* 31.222 N 082* 38.666 W. or along the road there as you will see.
If you come by sea look for the Big Cross, you may anchor at 27* 31.267 N 082* 38.539 W. in the harbor.
You may get to the cache from both Parks.
Go see the De Soto National Memorial Park as it has a lot to offer. (visit link)
The visitor center is open from 9:00 to 5:00, both Parks are open from sunrise to sunset and there is no fee for these Parks. They have changed a lot in the Park, so if you have not been there for sometime go see it. Both Parks do allow dogs, and it is used a lot in the evenings.
Archaeologists have found shell mounds that Prehistoric Inhabitants and there villages date back to 365 BC.
