Geocache Description:

While the original cache was at the bottom of an ivy covered fence post the hiding spot has been moved to a tree opposite the original spot, see the cache image for a look at the post from the caches current location! Please replace camouflage carefully.

The cache is off the path as you walk along the waterside of the Water of Leith or is also accessible from Lymphoy Road. It's quite a steep slope up to the cache and can also be quite slippery, so please be careful and keep an eye on any wee ones (if you want to avoid the steep slope I recommend coming in from the Lymphoy Road end). The Water of Leith starts its journey in the Pentland Hills and finishes at Ocean Terminal and Brittania, the Royal Yacht. Between these two points, there is a lovely path along the waterside and maybe a cache or two. Fun Fact: this is the 89th oldest, still active, cache in Scotland and its current owner is younger than the cache itself!
