Stonehenge Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Greatland Reviewer: Hello:

Time for some Fall clean-up before the snowflakes fly and folks go into hibernation.

This cache page has been archived due to the lack of a timely response to a prior Reviewer Note and/or because the Cache Owner has not been online for several months. If the owner would like to have it reinstated, please contact me through my profile as soon as possible before another cache gets placed nearby.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page requires it to go through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

This is a 35mm canister located at Anchorage's own Stonehenge. Contents include a log book and pencil, no room for anything else. No fancy prize for FTF, just the prestige and pride knowing that you have been to Stonehenge.

Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, England is home to the original Stonehenge. The original Stonehenge was believed to have been built in stages from 2800-1800 B.C. and is thought to have been designed for observation of astronomical phenomena, our Stonehenge is not quite as mysterious and is simply for decoration. Have fun and enjoy.
