This is an easy cache on the trails of Spencer Crest. There are several miles of beautiful hiking trails and a visitor center.
There is plenty of parking. Start on the Laurel Trail and watch for the large tree on the left with numerous rocks at it's base.
After you find the cache, follow the trail down to Amelia pond. You'll see the observatory on the hill in the distance.
Visit the nature center building if you reach the site on M-Sat for more displays and information on Spencer Crest.
