Geocache Description:

For the 3rd time I have had to change wp1 and/or final. Final was in a restricted zone. Park at Red Town trailhead N47 32.116 W122.07.719, Coal Creek trailhead N47.33.254 W 122.09.982, or the new "Y" in Newcastle(N47 32.489 W 122 09.047. The route from Red Town has lots of interesting stops on the way(waterfall, caves, locomotive turnaround, a memorial, cinder mine with lots of cinders and coal on the trail) and is relatively flat much of which is on an old railroad grade. The route from Coal Creek is longer with some elevation gain, has less parking, muddier during the rainy season in places, has fantastic berry picking, follows the creek much of the way, and is partially paved in places with brick discards from the old nearby brick plant which is now being converted to a massive housing project. The final is very close to wp1 and between the two "restricted" areas.
