Located on the beautiful labrador coast, this cache is worth looking for. The terrain is not that bad as there is a trail from Lanse Au Loup and an old cart path from Point Amour.
The only thing that I will say about the caches location is that it is ~ 40m above sea level and from the caches location in a little tuff of woods you can see Lanse Au Loup.
When you leave the ferry terminal you will drive along the labrador coast highway and take in the beautiful scenery. There are two ways to get to this cache. You can either turn out the road the leads ro Point Amour and fox Cove or you can walk the walking trail that leads to the cache from Lanse Au Loup which is the next community after the Point Amour turn off.
If you go the Point Amour way you will have a more rugged walk due to the fact that the trail leading to the cache is an old cart path. When you pass the lighthouse you will continue down the road towards fox cove where there is a fork in the road. At this fork turn left and follow a more rugged road a short distance until you come to another fok in the road where you will turn left. After this it is up to you to find the cache.
The trail fom Lanse Au Loup is a designated walking trail so it is easier to follow. I recommend going the Point Amour way because the scenery is beautiful and it is one of the best places on the coast to watch whales but it might be a little much for some people.
