Geocache Description:

Just east of Summerville, Ga. atop Taylor's Ridge.

The cache is in a standard ammo box, contains a sunblock stick (new of course), backpack clip, mini flashlight/nailclipper/whistle/keychain, a small pocketknife (a dull one that wouldn't cut hot butter, placed in the cache by a Boy Scout when we originally hid it in Cloudland Canyon last year), and the "Those Darn AOL CDs" travel bug. It is located right off the Pinhoti trail in Chattooga County, between the community of Gore and the city of Summerville.

Be sure to hike to the top of the ridge at the cut for the gas pipeline off the trail. The view of the valley below (Butler Dairy Rd.) is great.

Parking is available right off the highway a hundred yards or so west of the trail. Beware, US27 is a pretty busy highway, so be careful walking back to the entrance to the trail.
